Nixa Raider Team is a special team that competes at various Raider competitions throughout the course of the school year. The Raider Team focuses on physical endurance and conditioning. 

 Competitions may include events such as: 

• Team Physical Fitness Test

• 5Km or 10Km Run

• Raider Gauntlet/Obstacle Course

• One Rope Bridge

• Knot Tying

• Land Navigation Skills

• Knowledge Test

• First Aid

• Buddy Carry

 Raider teams compete locally to qualify for placement at the annual U.S. Army National Raider Championships held in November near Molena, GA.
